The Lost Rivers Community & Senior Center is more than a place to receive services—it is a place to belong.

For decades, the Center has served as a gathering place for residents of the Lost Rivers Valley, providing nutritious meals, social connection, wellness opportunities, volunteer engagement, and compassionate support. What began as a senior center has grown into a community resource that welcomes people of all ages while remaining deeply committed to the older adults who helped build and sustain our communities.

Today, the Lost Rivers Community & Senior Center continues to honor its legacy while embracing a broader vision for the future—one that strengthens connections, encourages volunteerism, and creates opportunities for neighbors to come together.

A Place to Belong

Community Powered

The Center exists because of the dedication of volunteers, donors, community partners, and local supporters.

Every meal delivered, every event hosted, every game of bingo, and every helping hand reflects the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors. Volunteers contribute hundreds of hours each year, supporting programs that would not be possible without their generosity and commitment.

Together, we create a welcoming environment where people can build friendships, share experiences, and support one another.

Our Story

For many years, the Lost River Senior Center has been a trusted resource for local residents. Through community meals, Meals on Wheels, wellness programs, bingo, volunteer opportunities, and supportive services, the Center has helped older adults remain independent, connected, and active in their communities.

As the needs of the Lost Rivers Valley have evolved, so has the Center. Community members, volunteers, staff, and board members recognized that the Center already served a broader role than its name reflected. Families, caregivers, visitors, volunteers, and residents of all ages regularly participate in programs, events, and activities hosted within its walls.

In 2026, the Board of Directors unanimously approved a new name:

Lost Rivers Community & Senior Center

The new name reflects both our history and our future. While our commitment to seniors remains at the heart of everything we do, we also recognize our role as a gathering place for the entire community.

We believe strong communities are built through relationships, compassion, and a shared commitment to caring for one another.
